Fire Department

The Robinson Fire Department is located at 400 South Jackson St. The department consists of nine full-time, twenty-five paid volunteer and two unpaid volunteer firefighters. The City works in cooperation with Robinson Township to provide fire protection for all of Robinson and the outlying township area. The two governmental units share resources and manpower under one fire department command structure, a unique arrangement in the State of Illinois.
The department apparatus include one 85 foot Snorkel, one 55 foot telesquirt, one pumper and an equipment van owned by the City, along with a pumper, a tanker and a brush truck owned by Robinson Township.
